    Hi Okler,

A time ago I got the Porto Template and it was working just fine.

Since I’m getting a joker sending email to me by the contact-us form I tried to change it to use the recaptcha (and updated to 7.0.0) way but I came across a callback problem.
After pressing the send button with the recaptcha instead of opening the contact-us form it open a json file.

what I’m doing wrong? can you give me a “hand”?

best regards from Porto city in Portugal,
    Pedro Dias

    Hello, thanks for your purchase.

You need add the class contact-form on the contact form:

    <form id="contactForm" class="contact-form custom-contact-form-style-1" action="php/contact-form.php" method="POST">

This will bind the JS code validation on the contact form.

Make sure you are include the view.contact.js script on the page.

Please, try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.

    Hi Rodrigo,

    Thank you for your help.

Just one more question, his there any way to force the use of the ReCaptcha? in this moment I can send an email without selecting ReCaptcha.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Best regards,
    Pedro Dias

    Hello Pedro,

The recaptcha validation occurs on the server side code (PHP). If the user has not checked the recaptcha then should return the error “Please click on the reCAPTCHA box.”. Make sure that you are using the modified code of contact-form.php that is explained here: http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/how-to-setup-google-recaptcha-in-the-contact-form/

Please, try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.
