I am building a website with a large number of pages. The client has insisted on straight html (not WordPress) as they want to manage it in Dreamweaver. Is there a way to have a persistent menu and footer that will not have to be changed one-by-one if a simple change is made to a link?

    Hello, thanks for your purchase.

Unfortunately this don’t is possible with only HTML.
My suggestion for you is create header and footer files using PHP (like wordpress).

    For example:
    – header.php (with header html)
    – footer.php (with footer html)

So you can include the header and footer on any page that you want.
I found this tutorial on google that can help you: https://www.android-examples.com/include-header-and-footer-in-php-page-example/

Please, let me know if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.
