    Hello Mushi,

    1) Here is the css you need:

    .select2-search__field::-webkit-input-placeholder,
    .select2-search__field::placeholder {
        color: red !important;
    }

    2) For the autocomplete/tagsinput is needed JS code:

    (css/custom.js):

    $('input').tagsinput({
      focusClass: 'my-focus-class'
    });

    (css/custom.css):

    .my-focus-class {
        border-color: #33bbff;
        -webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.075) inset, 0 0 8px rgba(0, 136, 204, 0.6);
        box-shadow: 0 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.075) inset, 0 0 8px rgba(0, 136, 204, 0.6);
    }

    Please try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.
