As we are initializing the carousel manually, we also need leave empty the value of navText option from Owl Carousel. For it use this JS code:

$('.my-custom-carousel').owlCarousel({
	dots: false,
	autoplay: false,
	loop: true,
	margin: 0,
	nav: true,
        navText: '',
	responsive: {
		0: {
			items: 1
		},
		600: {
			items: 3
		},
		1000: {
			items: 6
		},
	}
});
