Really sorry for the video tutorials. We removed our video tutorials because that are too much outdated (porto HTML is 7 years old). We are working in the new videos.
Regarding have normal menu on large screens and side header from left on mobile:
Sorry to say but unfortunately for now this is not possible. This is a feature in our to-do list for future version of Porto.
How can you combine the features for example a side-header > side-header-left but also the menu to close when you press outside the menu as seen in the Features-Extras-SidePanel?
Please note that the side-header > side-header-left it’s not floating on the page. So this is not possible with this type of header. My suggestion for you is use the “Side Header Off Canvas Push”:

If you want to start the page showing the side header (using Offcanvas Push example), just remove the class side-header-hide from html tag:
<html class="side-header-hamburguer-sidebar side-header-hamburguer-sidebar-right side-header-hamburguer-sidebar-push side-header-hide side-header-right-no-reverse">
and header tag:
<header id="header" class="side-header side-header-lg side-header-hide d-flex">
I also wanna mention that I would love to be part of your team, maybe I could learn how to use this theme and how to combine all features so that it can be fully customizable and maybe I can make video tutorials for this theme clients.
