attachement contact-us basic

Hello, I am a total newbie in coding. I wanted to use the “Contact-us advanced” instead of the “Contact-us basic”, but i only have a PHP file “contact-us-advanced.PHP”. I have no idea what to do from there. I’ve read previous ticket about this subject, but i haven’t understand much that could help me. (I am French and beginner so it dosen’t help me).

My goal is to have the Attachement on my “contact-us” page.

For contact forms with attachments you should use the “contact-us-advanced.php” for your contact page. As this is a PHP file, you need a local or online server with PHP. For a local server we recommend XAMPP:
https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html

XAMPP is a software to install a local server with PHP in your machine. Once you have XAMPP installed, just extract the template files inside a folder like:
C:/xampp/htdocs/porto-template/

Run XAMPP and start the apache server. Open the project in a browser using this URL:
http://localhost/porto-template/

This way you will be able to run PHP files.

Important: To get the contact form fully working you, I mean sending the contacts to your mail inbox, you should upload the website files to a online server.
