How do I add a static background when the video is not playing or until I get the video online.

    Thank you,
    Ron

    Hello Ron,

Can you please let me know what’s the version of Porto you are using in your project ?

If it’s 8.1.0 or 8.2.0 you should upload a .jpg image with same filename of the video inside the folder /video. Example:

    <section class="section border-0 video overlay overlay-show overlay-op-8 m-0" data-video-path="video/memory-of-a-woman" data-plugin-video-background data-plugin-options="{'posterType': 'jpg', 'position': '50% 50%'}" style="height: 100vh;">...............</section>

    * The static image/poster for the code above should be uploaded in the folder video/memory-of-a-woman.jpg. And the video at folder video/memory-of-a-woman.mp4.

If you are using Porto Version < 8.1.0, please see the example here: https://www.themepunch.com/revsliderjquery-doc/background-image-video/#html5-video-background

    We hope this helps!

Please try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.
