Its really confusing

Hi Okler team ,

I got this theme and I am all new to this. Whats really challenging for me is to be able to figure out all the specific dependencies ( css, js, img etc) which are specific for each of the themes. It would had been if each of the demos could have been structured better , in a folder each.

Anyways, Could you please send me a zip file , with all the dependencies of the marketing-1 theme .

I tried Bootstrap builder, UIzard, but now sticking to VSCode for building this out. Which other tool do you recommend for drag and drop and easy customisation of the themes, I am not a coding pro.

Hi, thanks for your purchase.

You will find the HTML files for the demo you want inside the HTML folder.

Example, for Marketing 1 demo – Files are:
demo-marketing-1.html
demo-marketing-1-case-studies.html
etc…

Porto comes with all the files as our Preview site (except by the images/videos that are replaced by placeholders).

Clean Up: You can remove unecessary files:
Folders:

• /Ajax: The HTML files in that folder are just examples on how to use Ajax requests for your site.
• /CSS: Make sure you keep in folders Demos and Skins just the demo files that you are using.
• /Images: Go to Demos folder and remove the demos that you are not using, you can also remove the placeholders images (grey images).
• /JS: : Make sure you keep in folders Demos, Views and Examples just the demo files that you are using.
• /Master: : Do not upload that folder to your host server, those are just the source codes to generate the template. You can remove that folder.
• /Vendor: That folder is where all the plugins used on Porto are located, make sure to keep only the ones you use and are included in the HTML files.
• /Videos: Remove the videos that you are not using.

Basically regarding CSS and JS fildes that you need you can just check the HTML files, for example:

Porto is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, therefore basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is required so that you can edit the templates using a Text Editor like VS Code, Sublime text, Notepad++ etc. So, it is different from using a CMS since you will have to deal with codes.

All the files that come with the zip package you downloaded can be used as a base/start for your project, the main idea is that you don’t have to start from scratch, just use an existing page from the demo and modify according to your needs, then you can simply upload the files to your server via FTP.

We use and recommend VSCode, which is the most advanced and modern editor in our opinion.

(Note it works the same way for all HTML templates on ThemeForest).
