I’m working on page speed https://pagespeed.web.dev/ and lighthouse says the site fails the audit because they have a no unload listeners because it causes problems and is out of date. “Never add an unload event listener! Use the pagehide event instead. Adding an unload event listener will make your site slower in Firefox, and the code won’t even run most of the time in Chrome and Safari.”

The problem file is here https://www.oregoninsurancelaw.com/vendor/plugins/js/plugins.min.js

Lighthouse sent me here to see the problem https://web.dev/bfcache/?utm_source=lighthouse&utm_medium=lr#never-use-the-unload-event

I’m updating from a very fast website(s) because of jquery vulnerabilities and to implement newer website accessability code, but, it’s tough to beat the old site was extremely fast and no errors like this (only because I rooted them all out).

I just purchased your template this week from Theme Forest.

Do you have an update to the plugin JS using PageHide instead? Or can you help me edit the JS file?

I am looking to update many website domains if your template works well for speed, I’ll go with it, but if I can’t get it doing better with the Lighthouse Audit, I’ll have to keep looking for another template.
