Section Scroll

Hi,

The Section Scroll does not work on iPad using Safari. It is not possible to move past the first section.

Incidentally the same happens on iPad using Safari when using Revolution Slider and setting the slide transition to slideupvertical. No scroll occurs.

You are using the 8.0.0 version of Porto ?

We have made some changes in the section scroll plugin in the latest 8.2.0 version that should fix this issue.

Please get the latest version (8.2.0) in the ThemeForest downloads section and replace the template core files:

– css/theme.css
– css/theme-elements.css
– js/theme.js
– js/theme.init.js

Please try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

Sorry but we couldn’t reproduce this touch issue here.

In our tests the page is scrolling as well when we touch the screen.

Can you please send us more details ?

Hi Rodrigo,

It works as a two-finger ‘move’ through the page but there is not any scrolling direct to the next section and one-finger action does not work.

Tested on iPad 7th Generation using Safari and Chrome and iPad 5th Generation using Safari.

Sorry about that issue, looks like it’s a limitation of the scrolling plugin and we are making a few more tests to provide a fix for it ASAP.

We did some tests here and still couldn’t reproduce your issue.

Maybe you are referring to have the same effect like seen on desktop ? Where we detect the scroll direction and then animate to next section.

Please note that due to mobile limitations we have this “Scroll Direction Detection” disabled on mobile screens. This mean the page will scroll like the other template pages without section scroll. The difference is that even on mobile, the section scroll features like dots navigation and change logo and menu colors on each section continue working, just the “scroll/touch direction detect” is disabled.

Please note this is the behavior since the 8.1.0 version of Porto.
