Two questions about images in carousel

Hello

I have several images that I want to show and I will use a carousel.

Now, the two questions:

1) How do I make the images open in modal? Not on another page. I want it to appear with the background of the page dimmed or blurred.

2) Is it possible to create a kind of modal carousel? That is, when the user clicks on the carousel image on the main page and the image opens in modal mode with the background dimmed or blurred, then right there the user can continue to see the following images from there without leaving, move to the next, click .. etc.

I search the examples and all the carousels open another web.
