Since a recent Chrome update, which only autoplays video on desktop if it’s muted (see https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changes) I’m having trouble getting a Youtube Video to autoplay when in a Revolution Slider.
I found http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/youtube-videos-not-working-with-revolution-slider/, which points to your demo http://okler.net/tests/porto/5.5.0/test-video.html – which on desktop autoplays in IE & Firefox and used to in Chrome but no longer does.
Do you have an up-to-date example which autoplays muted video in Chrome on desktop?

Seems those new policy for video autoplay from google 66 still only apply if you activate on Google Chrome flags. By default this new policy is deactivated.
Our suggestion is the steps below:
1) Open Google Chome and write
chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy
at URL bar.2) Change the autoplay police to “default”:
* Note that “default” is the default state when you download and install the browser.3) Close and open the browser again.
Please, try that and let us know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Rodrigo.

May 3, 2018 at 5:39 am #10025777Support2KeymasterHello,
After a lot of tests we detected that this issue only occurs with MacOS system using Chrome.
To fix, just update the Revolution Slider plugin to the latest version (5.4.7). Please follow the steps below:1) Download the latest version of Revolution Slider here:
http://preview.oklerthemes.com/porto/6.2.0/vendor/rs-plugin/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js
* Replace with the currentjquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js
in your project.2) Add the “data-version” attribute:
<div id="revolutionSlider" class="slider rev_slider" data-version="5.4.7" data-plugin-revolution-slider data-plugin-options='{"delay": 9000, "gridwidth": 1170, "gridheight": 500}'>
We also made those changes in our link test:
http://okler.net/tests/porto/5.5.0/test-video.htmlPlease, try that and let us know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Rodrigo.
